- In the past few months, I have finished my M.Ed, gotten engaged to Walt Gerald, the most amazing partner I could imagine, and given birth to Piper, our amazing little girl. My background is in early childhood education, my Master's degree is in higher education administration, and I work for Sustainable Carolina at the University of South Carolina. I am passionate about environmental stewardship, outdoor education, and engaging students to become more thoughtful and conscious leaders. The past few years have been full of amazing adventures, both through traveling and life in general. In an attempt to keep track of our new journey as parents, I have decided to start blogging again! There is no telling where life or this blog will take us, but I hope this provides a little glimpse of our beautiful life as a new family.
